Our Mission
We exist to plant and support healthy, biblically faithful churches throughout Newfoundland & Labrador, while training and equipping leaders who will serve their communities with compassion and truth.
Lord willing, we will see 17 churches planted across our province.

Our Vision

A church planting resident goes through residency, is burdened for a local community in need of a church, begins to learn about the community with intentions to move there and plant a church.

A send-team is strategically placed in a neighborhood/community. The goal is (1) build a core team that is committed to being a part of serving the church, and (2) regularly meet for Bible studies and prayer, as they seek to evangelize and learn the local culture.

A core-team gathers for monthly services while preparing to launch full, year-round services in their community by continuing to reach those from the neighborhood and find a regular meeting place.

The core-team now gathers for weekly services, functions as its own body, The planter now works to raise up local elders within the church. The elders of Calvary function as co-elders until local elders are raised.

The church plant now has local elders and begins to support itself financially as it weans off Mile One support. This is the final goal of all our plants.

Route 10 Community Church
R10 serves Kilbride & the Goulds on the outskirts of St. John’s. Both of these communities are filled with religious tradition. For many, R10 will be the first Gospel-centered, evangelical church they have encountered.

Downtown Community Church
DCC serves the Downtown St. John’s area. Our downtown is filled with many issues including homelessness, mental health, substance abuse, and deep religious hurt. DCC is working to show people that Jesus can save from these issues and the sin that causes them.

Northern Cross Community Church
NCCC serves one of the major population centers of Labrador—Happy-Valley Goose Bay. There is severe addiction, domestic violence, and suicide rates throughout this area. NCCC is striving to bring the light of Jesus to an incredibly dark and needy area.

Rabbittown Community Church
RCC serves a neighborhood in the center of St. John’s. Rabbittown hosts ~3000 residents including Newfoundlanders, immigrants, and university students. RCC is hoping to break into this diverse community and show how the gospel brings unity despite race, social status, or nationality.
