Steve Bray attended both Pillsbury Baptist Bible College and Kingston Baptist Bible College for his undergraduate studies and Calvary Baptist Seminary for his (MDiv).
Steve has been in pastoral ministry for over 20 years serving in both Fellowship and Canadian Baptist churches Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and currently as Lead Pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

Steve is the Director of Mile One Mission and is dedicated to planting Churches and seeing indigenous Newfoundlanders raised up to reach Canada’s most easterly province.
Russell was born and raised in Bay Roberts, NL. He and his wife, Angela, have been blessed with three children, Noah, Judah and Sarah. Russell has been in pastoral ministry for 23 years and now serves as the executive director for Mile One Mission.

Jennifer Winger is the Director of Women's Ministry for Mile One Mission. Her passion is to see women be committed followers of Christ, with a clear understanding of who they are as women before a living covenantal God. Jennifer is a wife, mom and sister in the Lord to many. She enjoys teaching women the Bible and serves on staff at Calvary Baptist Church, our hub church of Mile One Mission.
Director of Education and Intern Development
Steve has been a Christian for about 25 years, coming to saving faith while an undergraduate at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Since that time he has worked as a pastor in South Korea and in his native Newfoundland, and now as an elder and ministry assistant at Calvary. He holds degrees in Philosophy (BA), Law (LLB) and ministry (M.Div), and is presently researching Secularization theory as part of a Master’s degree in Religious Studies at Memorial University.
